REASONS FOR ADOPTING WMS As the most commonly adopted technology, 3PLs stated their reasons for adopting WMS software were to support real-time inventory tracking and management (82%), drive greater accuracy (75%), and to improve operational efficiency (69%). Surprisingly, cutting costs dropped to 19% in 2022 as compared to 27% in 2021 and 33% in 2020.
